2009


WEC Student and friend, Steve Godwin has been ranked 16th in Third Level for the Adult Amateurs in the Nation for 2008.


The WEC just returned from another successful season in Florida competing, winning and placing in Training Level with scores up to 74%, Third Level, Fourth Level with scores up to 66% and Prix St. Georges with scores up to 69%. The team competed at the Wellington Spring Challenges, Welcome Back to White Fences and Dressage at Equestrian Estates shows.



2008


The WEC team has just return from a successful season in Florida.


Kasson Ridge Dressage Show:
The WEC successfully competed in First, Second, Third and Fourth Level with scores over 72%. The first day of competition, the team received a fifth place in First and Third Level and a third place in Fourth Level. The final day of competition, the team earned a first and a third place finish in First Level with scores up to 72.63%. The WEC also placed first and sixth in the Second Level and third in Fourth Level with a score of 65.8%.


Sussex Dressage Weekend:
The Team earned eight blue ribbons, three second places, one third place and two fourth places. Competing in Training Level 4 with the youngest addition to the team, WEC Davidoff (only three years of age) with a score of 73.2% up to the PSG. The WEC won the Training Level Test 4 both days with scores up 73.2%, won and placed second in First Level with scores up to 66.94%, won in Second Level Test 4 both times entered with scores up to 68.57%. The team also won twice and placed second in Third Level with scores up to 71.39%, the team received a first, second and third place in Fourth Level with scores up to 65.11%, and received two fourth places in the Prix St.Georges.


HITS: The team received a second place in the first part of the Training Level ECRC with a 71.2% but could not finish the cup due to weather. The WEC also earned the Reserve Champion in the ECRC in Second Level for the Adult Amateurs and a third place in the ECRC in Prix St. Georges open class. The team also successfully competed in First Level with scores up to 66.28%, receiving one blue ribbon, one second and one third place finish. In addition, two second places in the Second Level Divisions were received with scores up to 67.29%. Lastly, the team also received a second place in Third Level with a score of 69.30%.


Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge I:
The team competed successfully from First Level to Fourth Level with two first place finishes, two second places, one third place, three fifth places and a sixth place with scores up to 66.923%.


Gold Coast Opener:
The team again competed successfully from First Level to Fourth Level with three second places, one third place and three sixth places with scores up to 65.116%.


Welcome Back to White Fences I:
The team competed in Second and Third Level with one first place finish, one second place, one fifth place and one sixth place finish with scores up to 65.405%.


Wellington Classic Spring Challenge:
The team received one first place finish, one second place, one fourth place, one fifth place and a sixth place finish in Second, Third and Fourth Level with scores up to 69.524%.


Palm Beach Derby:
The team competed successfully with top placings in First, Third and Fourth Level with scores up to 64.186%.


Welcome Back to White Fences II & III:
The team received one fifth place in First Level.


WEF Dressage Classic:
The team received two first place finishes and a second place in Second and Third Level.



2007


Dressage at Devon:
The team competed in the CDI Prix St. Georges and placed fifth in Fourth Level Test Three with a score of 66.7%.


HITS:
The team competed in First, Second and Third Level, in addition to Prix St. Georges. The team earned scores up to 67.33% in the Adult Amateur classes both in First and Second Level. The team also placed third in the ECRC/Open in the Prix St. Georges and fourth in the ECRC/Open in Second Level.


Sussex Dressage Weekend:
The team competed from First Level up to Intermediaire 1 with scores up to 69%. Placing everytime entered. The team also earned top placings in the Adult Amateur classes in both First and Second Level with scores ranging from 65.83% to 69.00%.


Kasson Ridge Farm:
The team placed third in the FEI TOC in the Prix St. Georges with a score of 69%.


Westbrook:
The team placed second and third in the FEI Prix St. Georges with scores up to 66.5%, fourth in the Intermediaire 1, first in Fourth Level, four first places in Second Level with scores up to 70% and also a fourth and a sixth place in Second Level.


Middlesex Dressage:
The team earned a second and third place in the FEI Prix St. Georges with scores up to 67.5%, a second place in Fourth Level with a score over 70%, and earned two third places and a fourth place in Second Level.


ESDCTA Memorial Weekend Dressage Show:
The team earned a first, second and sixth place in the FEI Intermediaire 1, a fifth and sixth in the FEI Prix St. Georges and two first, a second and two third places in Second Level with scores up to 68.25%.


Ox Ridge:
The team received top placings in the FEI Test of Choice in the PSG and Intermediaire 1. One first place in Second Level with a score over 69% and a second place in Second Level with a score over 68%.



2006


ESDCTA Memorial Weekend Dressage Show:
The team competed in Fourth Level and placed third in the division.


Dressage at the Park:
The team received two third places in the Prix St. Georges, one first and fourth place in the Fourth Level Divisions with scores up to 66.9%, a first and fourth place in First Level with scores up to 70.88% and lastly a fifth place in Training Level with a score of 67.69%.


Kasson Ridge:
Won or placed second in all four test entered. Placed first and second in both Prix St. Georges tests and won both Fourth Level tests with scores up to 68.60%.


OCDA/JHPC:
The team placed second at First Level and third at Prix St. Georges.


WHH II:
The WEC won the Prix St. Georges with a score of 69.25%, placed second and third in the Fourth Level Divisions with scores up to 66.28%, and also received two first places in First Level with scores up to 68.86%.


Vermont Dressage Days:
Won both FEI Tests of Choice/ PSG with scores up to 65.75%.


Centerline Events @ HITS:
The team placed fourth in the Prix St. Georges, competed at First Level with scores up to 65% and placed fourth in the division. The team also competed in Fourth Level and was placed every time entered, receiving a second place with a score of 68.84%, one third and one sixth place.


NEDA Fall:
The WEC entered seven times and was placed six times competing from First Level up to Intermediare I. The team placed first in the Fourth Level Division with a score of 66.74% and was also placed third and sixth in those divisions as well. Lastly, the team also placed third and sixth in the First Level Divisions with scores up to 67.22%.


Devon:
The WEC competed in Fourth Level and Prix St. Georges and was placed eigth in the Fourth Level class.



2005


At ESDCTA Memorial Weekend Dressage Show, the team competed from Training Level up to Prix St. Georges with scores up to 79.6%. The team earned six first places, nine second places, one third and one fourth place.


At Red Horse Stable, the WEC competed up to Fourth Level with scores up to 71.19%. The WEC was always placed either in first or second place every time. Earning five first places and five second places.


At OCDA/JHPC, the WEC competed up to Fourth Level. The WEC entered three times and earned two first places and one second place.


AT WHH II, the WEC competed up to Prix St. Georges with scores in the high 60%s. Earning two first places and three second places.


At Westbrook, the WEC competed twice at Training Level with one first place (72.5%) and one second place (68%) with a young horse that has never been shown.


At Ox Ridge, the WEC competed from Training Level up to Fourth Level. The WEC earned a third place in the East Coast Riders Cup in Training Level with a young horse that has only been shown once before. The horse earned a 72% and a 68.8%. The WEC also placed third in the East Coast Riders Cup in Third Level and Fourth Level with scores up to 65.11%.


At NEDA Fall, the WEC competed from Third Level up to Prix St. Georges with scores up to 66.04%. The WEC placed second in Fourth Level.


At Devon, the WEC competed in Fourth Level and was placed seventh out of 25.



2004


At Port Jervis 2004, the WEC team earned eight blue blue ribbons, along with four red and four yellow ribbons. The team competed and won in Training Level up to Fourth Level, with scores in the higher 70%.


At Dressage at Saratoga 2004, the WEC earned the title of Training Level Champion with over 76%, second highest score of the show, First Level Champion and Reserve Second Level Champion. The team also competed successfully in Third Level and won Fourth Level.


At WHH 2004, the WEC team earned 10 blue ribbons and was placed in all classes entered. The team competed in First Level up to Prix St. Georges with scores over 73%.


At Stoneledge 2004, the WEC team won all their tests in Third and Fourth Level, won First Level with scores in the 70's, and received an 80.4% in the USDF Dressage Sport Horse Prospects (Under Saddle).


At OCDA/JHPC 2004, the team competed from Training Level through Fourth Level, earning two blue ribbons and five red ribbons.


At WHH Summer II, the team earned seven first places, three seconds, a fourth and two fifth places, with scores up in the 70's.


At Ox Ridge Summer Dressage Show 2004, the team earned ECRC Fourth Level Champion, two third places in the ECRC Second and Third Level Division and fifth and sixth places in the ECRC First Level Division.


AT NEDA FALL 2004, the WEC team won the Region 8 Fourth Level Championships. Earned the titles of Region 8 Reserve Second Level Champion, Region 8 Reserve Training Level Champion and won the Second Level Sweepstakes. The team also placed third and fourth in the Region 8 Third Level Championships, third in the Third Level Sweepstakes and second and third in the First Level Sweepstakes.
